Kit's Coty Chardonnay is widely considered to be one of the finest still wines from England. This multi award-winning wine is produced from the finest Chardonnay parcels within our 95-acre Kit's Coty vineyard on the North Downs of Kent. The grapes are whole bunch pressed before undergoing wild fermentation in old oak barrels to add complexity and texture to the wine. A rich and opulent white wine with complex aromas of white peach, apple and apricot. The palate is well rounded with notes of roasted hazelnuts and buttery hints followed by a long, rich and satisfying finish. 75cl Bottle

Winemaking
For our 6th edition Kit's Coty Chardonnay, we hand harvested the grapes in late September 2018. The fruit was whole bunch pressed before undergoing wild fermentation in old French oak barrels. In contrast to our fresher Chardonnay 2020, this vintage of Kit's Coty Chardonnay is more subtly oaked, richer and complex, with a long finish and tasting notes of toasted hazelnut.
Vineyard
Kit's Coty is a 100 acre vineyard on the North Downs of Kent. Its southerly aspect ensures the vines capture the sunlight all season long, while the warm, free draining chalk soils provide the perfect terroir for producing well balanced, intensely flavoured fruit that truly express their identify and the unique soil qualities.

Your order will be sent via DPD to the postal address given, on the day of delivery DPD will send you a one hour timeslot for when their driver will drop off to your location. The driver will leave safe if you are not in so the box can be left outside until you arrive back home.
