What is a Côte De Boeuf?
A Côte De Boeuf is a bone-in ribeye — essentially a thick-cut ribeye steak with the rib bone left in. The bone adds flavour during cooking and makes for a spectacular presentation. At 45 days of dry-ageing, ours develops an extraordinary depth of flavour, natural tenderness and a rich, complex character that a standard ribeye simply cannot replicate.
How do I cook it?
Remove from the fridge 1 hour before cooking. Season generously with sea salt and black pepper all over. Sear in a very hot cast iron pan with a splash of oil for 3–4 minutes each side until deeply browned. Transfer to an oven at 180°C and cook for 15–20 minutes for medium-rare (internal temp 54°C). Rest for at least 10 minutes before carving. Baste with butter, garlic and thyme during the oven stage for an exceptional result.
How many people does it serve?
A Côte De Boeuf typically serves 2 people generously — it's the classic sharing steak. Carved at the table alongside bone marrow and cheese, it makes for a genuinely memorable dinner for two.

Our team will get your order ready 24 hours before the date requested at checkout. Everything will be cut fresh, packaged with the utmost care by our team and then boxed with ice packs in our sustainable packaging, ready to be delivered Next Day.
Your order will be sent via DPD to the postal address given, on the day of delivery DPD will send you a one hour timeslot for when their driver will drop off to your location. The driver will leave safe if you are not in so the box can be left outside until you arrive back home.
Our cool boxes maintain the right ambient temperature for up to 48 hours so your box will always arrive fresh and chilled.
