Sourced from a cooperative of 200 farmers in the Vendée region under the Leon family's Black Prestige brand - the farmers focus on slow growth, natural rearing and ethics above all else. The birds are raised to the highest welfare standards, producing chicken with rich flavour, tender texture and the hallmark golden-yellow skin. Weighing between 1.4-1.6kg, this is chicken as it should be – full of character, with a flavour profile that far surpasses our own birds in the UK.

The Poulet Jaune Black Prestige is raised on a 100% vegetarian diet, primarily corn-based, enriched with essential vitamins and minerals.
