Sublime Butter uses a lactic culture to develop a complex, flavoursome base into which the classic Argentinian steak sauce is folded, creating something that lifts grilled beef to another level entirely. What cuts work best with chimichurri butter?

Chimichurri is the classic Argentinian companion to beef — it was made for big, bold cuts with good fat and flavour. Ribeye, sirloin, bavette, skirt and rump all work brilliantly. Melt a disc over the rested steak and let it pool into the meat. Also exceptional basted over lamb shoulder, leg steaks or grilled chicken thighs during the final minutes of cooking.

Is it very spicy?

No — it has a pleasant warmth from the red chilli but it's not hot. Traditional chimichurri is herb-forward rather than heat-forward, and this butter follows that balance — parsley and garlic lead, with the chilli providing background warmth and the red wine vinegar a clean lift at the finish.

How does it compare to the Garlic & Herb butter?

The Garlic & Herb is more classically European — refined and aromatic. The Chimichurri is bolder and more punchy, with the addition of chilli and red wine vinegar giving it a more vibrant, South American character. Both are excellent steak butters — it depends whether you want subtle or bold.

Keep refrigerated. Best used within the date shown on packaging. Can be frozen on day of delivery — defrost in the fridge and use within 24 hours of defrosting.
