Made by Caroline Meurée and Hervé Malinge — a young winemaking couple who met while studying in Bordeaux — at their Domaine des Sables Verts in the heart of Saumur-Champigny. Despite neither being from the Loire Valley, in 2019 they bought this 16-hectare domaine across five communes and immediately set about converting to organic viticulture to protect the extraordinary diversity of the deep clay-limestone soils rich in tuffeau and green sand — the 'sables verts' that give the domaine its name. 'Glouglou' is the sound of wine being poured — unpretentious, joyful and made for drinking.

Tasting Notes
Enticing aromas of juicy raspberry, blackcurrant and redcurrant on the nose. The palate carries these red fruit characters alongside supple tannins and a fresh, lively acidity, resulting in a crisp, clean finish. Light-to-medium bodied with a joyful, easy-drinking character that belies its serious terroir origins.
