Who makes Hawkstone Cider?
Hawkstone is produced in the Cotswolds at Clarkson's Farm in Chipping Norton — co-founded by Jeremy Clarkson and well known from the Amazon Prime series. The cider is made from carefully selected apples and produced to the same quality standard as the lager, with a genuine Cotswolds provenance.
What does it taste like?
Crisp and refreshing with a medium-dry finish — bright apple character with a clean, orchard freshness and just enough sweetness to balance the acidity. Not too sweet, not too tart. A well-balanced, easy-drinking cider that works in any setting.
What food does it pair with?
Excellent with pork — sausages, chops and pulled pork all pair naturally with cider. Also brilliant with aged cheddar, smoked cheese and charcuterie. The apple freshness cuts through rich, fatty flavours and cleanses the palate between bites.
How should I serve it?
Well chilled, straight from the fridge or over ice. Serve in a chilled glass or simply straight from the can. At 4.5% ABV it's refreshing and sessionable throughout an afternoon or evening.
